The Faculty of Sciences at FAU is therefore making an active contribution to significantly increasing the number of women in leading research positions and ensuring that women reach their full qualification potential. The Faculty Women\u2019s Prize not only honours the achievements of young female researchers, but also provides them with support during the course of their careers.<br><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-rrze-elements-collapsibles \"><div class=\"accordion\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-rrze-elements-collapse \"><div class=\"accordion-group \"><h2 class=\"accordion-heading\"><button class=\"accordion-toggle\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-name=\"which-faculty-womens-prize-is-awarded-by-the-faculty-of-sciences\" data-href=\"#which-faculty-womens-prize-is-awarded-by-the-faculty-of-sciences\" type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"which-faculty-womens-prize-is-awarded-by-the-faculty-of-sciences-section\" id=\"which-faculty-womens-prize-is-awarded-by-the-faculty-of-sciences\">Which Faculty Women&#039;s Prize is awarded by the Faculty of Sciences?<\/button><\/h2><div id=\"which-faculty-womens-prize-is-awarded-by-the-faculty-of-sciences-section\" class=\"accordion-body \" aria-labelledby=\"which-faculty-womens-prize-is-awarded-by-the-faculty-of-sciences\" role=\"region\" name=\"which-faculty-womens-prize-is-awarded-by-the-faculty-of-sciences\"><div class=\"accordion-inner clearfix\">\n\n<p>Every year, the Faculty of Natural Sciences awards a prize to up to two outstanding young female researchers for particularly worthy post-doctoral or post-doctoral projects by providing material or, alternatively, personnel funding to finance the establishment or expansion of a research group. The award is endowed with <strong>15,000 euros<\/strong>. Funding is preferably provided for teaching units or qualification levels in which women are underrepresented.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-rrze-elements-collapsibles \"><div class=\"accordion\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-rrze-elements-collapse \"><div class=\"accordion-group \"><h2 class=\"accordion-heading\"><button class=\"accordion-toggle\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-name=\"who-can-apply-and-what-does-the-faculty-womens-prize-include\" data-href=\"#who-can-apply-and-what-does-the-faculty-womens-prize-include\" type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"who-can-apply-and-what-does-the-faculty-womens-prize-include-section\" id=\"who-can-apply-and-what-does-the-faculty-womens-prize-include\">Who can apply and what does the Faculty Women&#039;s Prize include?<\/button><\/h2><div id=\"who-can-apply-and-what-does-the-faculty-womens-prize-include-section\" class=\"accordion-body \" aria-labelledby=\"who-can-apply-and-what-does-the-faculty-womens-prize-include\" role=\"region\" name=\"who-can-apply-and-what-does-the-faculty-womens-prize-include\"><div class=\"accordion-inner clearfix\">\n\n<p><br><strong>Postdoctoral or habilitation projects from all departments at the Faculty of Sciences<\/strong><br>The target group includes particularly high-achieving young women academics from all departments with excellent career prospects, such as habilitands or outstanding post-doctoral researchers. They can either apply on their own initiative or be nominated. All faculty members are eligible for nomination.<br>The prize money can either be used as personnel funds to build up or expand their own working group or as material funds to carry out a research project.<br>At the end of the funding period, the funded researchers are required to submit a report on their experience or results to the Women&#8217;s Representative of the Faculty of Natural Sciences.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-rrze-elements-collapsibles \"><div class=\"accordion\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-rrze-elements-collapse \"><div class=\"accordion-group \"><h2 class=\"accordion-heading\"><button class=\"accordion-toggle\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-name=\"applying-for-the-faculty-womens-prize\" data-href=\"#applying-for-the-faculty-womens-prize\" type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"applying-for-the-faculty-womens-prize-section\" id=\"applying-for-the-faculty-womens-prize\">Applying for the Faculty Women&#039;s Prize<\/button><\/h2><div id=\"applying-for-the-faculty-womens-prize-section\" class=\"accordion-body \" aria-labelledby=\"applying-for-the-faculty-womens-prize\" role=\"region\" name=\"applying-for-the-faculty-womens-prize\"><div class=\"accordion-inner clearfix\">\n\n<p>The application for funding should be sent to your respective <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.frauenbeauftragte.nat.fau.de\/frauenbeauftragte\/\">departmental women&#8217;s representative<\/a><\/strong> and to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.frauenbeauftragte.nat.fau.de\/person\/prof-dr-friedlinde-goetz-neunhoeffer\/\">Faculty women&#8217;s representative<\/a><\/strong>.&nbsp; In addition, the following documents are also required:<br>List of publications<br>Tabular curriculum vitae<br>Copies of all university degree certificates and academic records<br>A three-page description of the planned research project (subject, concept, research methods, current status of own research, work plan with time schedule, etc.)<br>Career plan statement<br>In the case of nomination: a short statement by the
